Job SummaryThe Department of Nursing at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Cardiology Associate, Cath Lab. The successful candidate will:
Under the general guidance of the Clinical Technical Specialist, perform and assist in the performance of cardiac invasive and non-invasive procedures and related activities.
Participate in on-call/recall and rotating beeper schedule.
Assist in calibration of lab equipment and in the set up of trays when necessary.
Assist with patient preparation and positioning on the x-ray table.
Assist in the maintenance of supplies and equipment.
Perform other additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in a Technical Specialty.
Certification in specialty: ARDM, CPT, or other.
4+ years of experience required.
Preferred QualificationsWork Schedule:Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm
