This was a wonderful recipe. I "happened" upon it, but now it is my go to cookie recipe for events and to have around the house, since my family fights over them. I substituted dried cranberries (Craisins) for the strawberries and it was delicious.

These were so good. My whole family and I loved them. We fought over who was going to get the last one. I substituted no sugar added craisins for the strawberries.

The four stars are for my version of the recipe: the original version is probably better, but I need to go low sugar. I made this with half Splenda baking mix and half Splenda brown sugar mix. I also added 3/4 cup chopped pecans instead of the strawberries and white chocolate, and toasted both the oatmeal and the nuts. I tried toasting the oats once, and now I will never again made oatmeal cookies without this step: you have to watch out because oats burn easily, but it adds a lot of flavor. The texture was a bit off, because of the substitution, but the taste was really nice, and they came together quite easily. A keeper.

Great for snacks, breakfast, dessert, road trips. I usually use semisweet chocolate, and vary the dried fruit. You can reduce the sugar a little - about one-fourth cup - and still come out great.

I am not a good baker. I was expecting these to turn out burnt, flat, and tasteless - due to my own lack of ability. I was pleasantly surprised! These were so easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly - except I used dark chocolate and dried cherries. They were soft, chewy and tasty. I will absolutely be making theses again. BUT this recipe did not make many cookies - I think I got 16 cookies. So will need to double the recipe if making for a party or holiday or something.

YUMMY! Was super quick to mix using my Kitchenaid mixer. Used a mix of cherries raisins blueberries and cranberries from Trader Joe's which was great! Will make again and next time double it. I got 20 cookies but wasn't being too precise. :-)

I LOVE this recipe and it is a go-to for a desert to take to parties. I use dried cranberries instead of strawberries. Loads of compliments!

I LOVED this recipe. I made it for a wine tasting and did not substitute any ingredients. Usually with cooking light recipes I don't get as many cookies out of the batch as they say, but I ended up getting more. If you make the small cookies, cut the cooking time. I found about 7.5 minutes was enough for the cookies. I also baked them on parchment paper.

This recipe prompted me to join myrecipes.com...because of this great recipe find!! The cookie is absolutely outstanding in taste, texture, and diet. We used dried cranberries with shreaded chocolate and loved them...I consider them a really healthy treat as well! I recommend you make them plumper when baking. They will stay nice and chewy.

THESE COOKIES ARE SO GOOD! I love how unique the flavor combination is too. They taste wonderful, but mine never look like the picture. That doesn't matter though the taste makes up for it. I find the dried strawberries at Super Target (they can be hard to find)

There is an upscale grocery store near me that carries the dried strawberries so I was able to stick to the recipe. These are some of the best cookies I have ever eaten. Will be a new "regular!"

I couldn't find strawberries, so I made these with orange-flavored cranberries instead. They were gone as soon as they were out of the oven!

These cookies are wonderful! I added about 1/3 cup chopped pecans for a little crunch. Other than that I followed the recipe to a tee. I had 25 delicious cookies! Will make again.

Exactly as described: crispy and light. We made no changes except using dried cranberries in place of the suggested dried strawberries. Cookies turned out perfect at 12 minutes! So delicious!!

What a great way to step up my husband's favorite oatmeal cookies. Used the mixed dried mangos and berries from Costco. It had mangos(which I cut into small pieces with kitchen shears) strawberries and blueberries. That was the only substitution made. I doubled the recipe for a cookie exchange and manged to get 60 cookies.

These cookies are absolutely wonderful. I went all over in search of dried strawberries and couldn't find them, so I used Craisins cherry flavored (2/3 cup) I reduced the baking time to 9 minutes as others suggested and they are perfect. I used a tablespoon for dropping them onto cookie sheet and got exactly 24 cookies, can't wait to make them again!

I actually got 30 out of this, but they are a little on the smaller side. (It would help if I would read directions and know that I should be targeting 24 cookies instead of 32). Anyway, I used 2/3 cup of Craisins, and decreased the brown sugar to 2/3 cup. I baked them for about 8 minutes. They're soooo good.

These cookies are my go to quick fix. They are versatile and I typically use dried mixed berries because dried strawberries are hard to find. At Christmas time I use dried cranberries. Recently I used a combination of raisins, nuts and dried berries to make a trail mix version. These were a BIG hit. I tried using chocolate chips once, but did not like the outcome. The white chocolate chips are what makes the cookies sweet because there isn't a lot of sugar in the dough.

I didn't like these, but my dad did. They seemed pretty sweet and spread out too much. Were chewy, though....I didn't have dried strawberries and used fresh strawberries. This is probably why the cookies were too flat. Recommend sticking to dried fruit.

I absolutely love these cookies. I can't ever find dried strawberries, so I sub dried cranberries, and I think the more tart flavor actually improves the cookie. My only issue with the recipe is that my cookies are always done in 7 minutes with very brown undersides, so watch the cooking time carefully.

This is a great recipe. I cut the butter even more and used applesauce instead. I used whole wheat flour, cut the sugar by a quarter cup and used chocolate chips and walnuts instead of white choc and strawberries since I didn't have either on hand. Great recipe with some edits - company loved the cookies and couldn't tell they were lowfat!!!

I think this is a great cookie. I am watching my cholesterol so I subs. egg beaters for the egg. In addition I subs. dried cherries for the strawberries and dark chocolate chips for the white and added 1/4c. almonds. Love them!! Will make again for sure, I like the fact the batch was small, less for me to eat:)
